Appreciate little luxuries

What kind of person are you? Are you the kind of person who just goes with the fastest, easiest, and or cheapest option? If that sounds like you, you might want to rethink that and learn to appreciate little luxuries.

What exactly is a little luxury you might ask. No it's not jewelry. It's a method of doing something or using an object that makes a process better and more rewarding for you. I know that sounds a little confusing, let me give you an example. Say you want to get yourself cleaned up. You have the option of taking a quick shower or actually filling the tub, maybe lighting a candle and using bubble bath. Those die hard quick shower fans out there might not agree with this, but don't you feel better after taking a nice warm bath and relaxing in the tub for a few minutes. That's what a little luxury is. Doing something in a better manner that leaves you feeling better.

Another example is this. How many of you have nice wine glasses that you only save for special occasions? Why wait? Everyday is a special occasion. I know that wine  might be a little pricey to just have at any old time, but you can take your wine glasses and fill them with soda or juice. Try it. You  might just feel like you're at a cocktail party.

The main point is to incorporate a little bit of luxury into everyday tasks. It will add an element of beauty and elegance to your day. It will also lift your spirits and spur your imagination to think higher level thoughts and dream higher dreams. If you're drinking soda from a wine glass you  might start thinking of drinking Cristal. If you focus on that long enough by the law of attraction it will come to you.
